Fashion Association Branding
Objective
Redesigning an album and creating a new identity for them for a LP. Redesigning with the intent that it exudes the energy of the music within the album and or concept of the album overall.
Inspiration/Original Album
Here are photos that were inspiration for this creation of my album, alongside photos of the original Bewitched album by the artists Laufey herself.
Photography
The photos were taken within a professional studio setting, and used a white backdrop. Using a Rebel T7 Canon camera, a ziplock bag was placed on-top of the lense to create a haze effect over it. Alongside this, water droplets were scattered on the ziplock bag to reflect light and create a dreamlike setting.
After taking 300+ photos, it was then narrowed down to a select few that would continue on as candidates for the front and back of the LP design.
Digital Iterations
Here is where text started to be incorporated into the piece. Experimenting with different fonts, effects, and then colors.
Final Composition
Here's the final composition layout and mockups for the LP. Using an overlay and effect on top of all the text to make it feel more intertwined within the composition!
